Questions For You To Ask
- Always try to ask questions
- Take a paper with questions on it to the interview, it is hard to remember questions when we are nervous
- Pull the paper out during question time, this indicates that you have done some work prior to the interview
- If they have already answered most of your questions, say something like “Actually you have answered most of my questions, I just have one question about…..”
Questions:

- What are the main duties of this position?
- What characteristics do you look for in people doing this job?
- Is this a newly created position or did someone leave the position? (If it is a new position ask about if job descriptions and supervisory structures have been put into place.)
- Who are the personnel I would be dealing with?
- What opportunities are there for advancement?
- Does your company have branches elsewhere?
- Do you have any plans for expansion?
- What area does your market cover?
- When will you be making your decision?
- What is the overtime situation like?
- How are the hours scheduled?
- Why do you enjoy working here?
- Would you recommend this as a good workplace?
- Would you mind rating the management team on a scale of 1-10?
- What is the work environment like here?
