How To Exit Gracefully

The interview is winding down, and you think it might be time to leave. Save yourself from embarassment, and express your professionalism by following these tips.

• Watch for cues from the interviewer that your sessions is winding down, i.e. “Thanks for coming....”, “We’ll keep in touch...”, looking at the wall of shuffling papers
• Extend a handshake and say thank you and reconfirm any plans for further contact
• Leave any information: Letters of Recommendation
